This incredibly unique Ben Porat Hamsa Pendant is a hand-made creation of the Golan Studio. The pendant is made up of five sterling silver Hamsa disks that hang one over the other. Each Hamsa disk is engraved with a different Hebrew phrase.
The uppermost Hamsa is engraved with the Hebrew phrase "Ben Porat Yosef Aley Ayne". This phrase was the blessing given by Jacob to his beloved son Joseph. "Porat" is related to fertility and "Ayne" to spring of water. Thus, the blessing is one of plentifulness.
The remaining Hamsas are engraved with phrases from the Priestly Blessings. The Priestly Blessings are recited on festivals in the Diaspora and on every Shabbat and festival in Israel. They are the vehicle through which G-d's Divine Protection is bestowed upon his beloved people.
The combination of these phrases creates a very original pendant that is chock-full of wishes for Divine Goodness for the wearer.
The Golan Studio sells only the finest hand-made creations from the best Israeli artists.
