This refreshing Hamsa penadant was entirely hand-crafted by the renowned Israeli artist Ester Shahaf. Shahaf uses a variety of materials, such as Swarovski crystals and beads, based on an enamel paint background to bring this ancient Hamsa symbol boldly into the twenty-first century. The Hamsa is believed to protect the wearer from the evil eye and in recent years has enjoyed renewed world-wide popularity.
Ester Shahaf graduated from the Tel Aviv University after learning theater and costume design. She combines her studies with natural talent for capturing the rich multi-culturalism that makes up Israel, to produce exquisitve hand-made pieces.
