Hamsa Earrings - Turqouise - by Ester Shahaf

These delightful sterling silver Hamsa Earrings were created by Israeli artist Ester Shahaf and are adorned with Swarovski crystals, beads and copper and brass accents. The Hamsa hand is an ancient symbol that originates in the Middle East and is believed to ward off the evil eye and Shahaf does a wonderful job in creating stunning earrings with a distinct Middle-Eastern feel to them. Ester Shahaf graduated from Tel Aviv University with a degree in theater and costume design. She blends many materials, often contrasting ones, in her works, reflecting her experience with the colorful, exotic cultures she encounters in Israel.
