Jerusalem Glass Hamsa Hand by Yair Emanuel

This beautiful glass Hamsa Hand was created by Israeli artist Yair Emanuel. The Hamsa is an ancient amulet believed to protect from the evil eye. Emanuel chose to paint the Hamsa with a colorful design of the Old City of Jerusalem, the heart of the Jewish people. Yair Emanuel is a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and his pieces are created through a variety of techniques including silk painting, hand embroidery and painting on wood and glass.
